Form a loop with
the left hand tie leg.
INSTALLING YOUR PLASTIC CRATE BED
Start to form an overhand knot by bringing the loop around and behind itself like this.
Form a small hole in the center of the loop.
Bring the end of the loop through the center of the hole, and pull tight like this. You should have about 1" through the center after finishing.
Then hold the loop and other tie leg so it doesn't slip back.
While holding the left loop tight, bring the other tie leg around itself like this and form another loop.
Then bring the end of this tie through its loop, and pull tight.
The finished knot should look similar
to this.
Repeat steps A and B above twice, pulling tight each time.
This secures the knot from slipping.
Continue around the crate, tying each tie as in the previous steps.
You are finished with the bed tying!
Your crate should now look similar to this one.
Here is the installed bed.
Re-assemble your crate and you are ready to go.
This shows a view of the installed bed, and
the ties around the bottom edge of the crate.
